Nik Schmitt 5L Rumtopf Stoneware Pot ME50

These beautiful hand-crafted stoneware pots are manufactured in Germany. Decorated and designed for use in making this traditional German holiday treat. Originally this was a way to preserve summer fruits for consumption during the winter. Fruits were picked at their peak from late spring until early autumn, fermented in rum for several more months, and then enjoyed the holidays into the New Year.
